Weekend Update

We had a very busy weekend! On Saturday I went to bridal shower for the fiance of a good family friend. While I was there Grant and Jaxon had a daddy-son day. They ran errands and by the end of the day Jaxon was worn out.


Saturday evening Grant and I had dinner with my good friend Emily and her new fiance Sandy. We had never met him before and had a good time! We tried a new restaurant in Denton that Grant found called the Green House. It was really good! They had a wide variety of food including a vegetarian menu for Emily.



After dinner we went to our old favorite, Buffalo Wild Wings, for some drinks. We ended the night by hanging out with some of our favorite neighbors.

Sunday morning we met Grant's mom at First Baptist Church McKinney and attended their contemporary service for the first time. We really enjoyed it and have plans to go back and visit again. We went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch with Grant's mom after church. I love that place!! We came home and napped and then spent the evening playing with Jaxon. It was a great weekend!
